ABOUT ME

My name is Remi Schott and I am a multimedia journalist and content creator. Originally born and raised in Long Beach, New York, I moved to Austin, Texas after graduating with a BA in Journalism from Stony Brook University. I have a particular passion for narrative journalism and telling "people" stories. However, I also have an ever-present love for marketing and creating meaningful and interactive content for brands that keeps the consumer engaged long after they have turned the page or kept on scrolling. The wide variety of my passions has prompted me to seek out diverse experiences; ones in which I have spent 16-weeks working on an investigative journalism piece, spearheaded content for nationally-recognized brands, and even started my own podcast!

When I'm not creating content or reporting, you can find me obsessively listening to true crime podcasts, fostering dogs, or enjoying the outdoors!
